(-3/6) − (-2/6) = -1/6
(-2/3) − (-1/3) = -1/3
(-2/5) − (-2/5) = 0

Same denominator, so work with the numerators like integers: (-2) + (-2)
Same signs: add the sizes, 2 + 2 = 4
Keep the shared sign: -4
